Related California is a real estate and management company with more than two decades of experience developing award-winning multifamily housing at all income levels. Since its inception, the company has been active in the development of affordable, mixed-use and market rate communities in San Francisco, resulting in more than 1,200 homes completed and in operation. 1601 Mariposa Leadership
William Witte is Related California’s President and Managing Partner. He has over 30 years of experience in urban, multifamily and mixed-use housing in California. Much of Mr. Witte’s work is rooted here in San Francisco by his past work in two mayoral administrations. From 1981-1988, Mr. Witte served as Director of Housing and Economic Development under Mayor Dianne Feinstein, and was later appointed Deputy Mayor for Housing and Neighborhoods under Mayor Art Agnos. He is a Policy Advisory Board member of the Fisher Center for Real Estate at UC Berkeley’s Hass School of Business, and sits on the board of the Center for Creative Land Recycling in San Francisco.
